PostgreSQL Certification Programs Active
This course bridges the gap between theory and practice in Postgres Database. Participants will learn how to design a database, database development maintenance and performance tuning. This course emphasizes hands-on coding.

20 hours of recorded videos and 10 hours of online live interactive sessions with the subject matter experts on Saturdays/ Sundays

This course is designed to:
Provide a foundational and practical understanding of Postgres database and its implementation across multiple domains
Understand the architecture and benefits of postgres database Enable students to do hands-on code building, performance-tuning
- COURSE CONTENT/ MODULES COVERED
The key modules of the course consist of:
Creating the postgres database, schema and objects for a database.
Intro to Encryption
Introduction to Performance-Tuning
- CAPSTONE PROJECT
The milestones are:
Build a database application end to end
Play with encryption of data, retrieval techniques etc etc
Finetune a small model for small task
Know how to connect the backend and develop procedures, functions and triggers
Performance tuning - optimize the queries which is taking more time to execute
Create materialized views and refresh the views in an acceptable frequency
Create views by storing the queries for which is run a frequent manner
Create role based access and grant the privileges, revoke the privileges and create read only user for reporting purposes.
Create procedures to manipulate the data of that module and store the data in a temporary table
Create backups and restore the whole database or a particular table from the backup or from the db script through copy command.
